Pet Care Kits

Each month, our community involvement team, “RSA Give” partners with one organization to give back to the Kalamazoo area. This month, we partnered with the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan to pack pet care kits for the homeless.  RSA Give was started in 2017 as an opportunity for Rose Street employees to engage in giving back to our community. Our goal with the program is to have a positive impact on our local community through charitable giving while exemplifying Rose Street’s own core values of being generous, committed, focused and connected to the community we reside in.

The City of Kalamazoo is currently dealing with a growing homeless population and pets are proven to bring help and joy to those in need. The cost of pet care can be unaffordable. So our goal is to make it more feasible to care for a pet.

For more information on how to assist our homeless community, you can join the facebook page “Kalamazoo Coalition for the Homeless” for updates and news.

A meal train for the homeless has also been started by community members, you can fill a time slot to drop off food here.
