Are Your Employment Posters Up to Date?

Picture your employment posters.  Are they in the employee entrance?  By the coffee pot or in the cafeteria?  You know you love them and willingly fork over the subscription fees for endless reminders that you need to keep them up to date.

Well, the bad news is that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) just issued a new poster titled “Know Your Rights” which is intended to replace the “EEO is Law” poster.  Before you run out and buy a new poster set, remember that Michigan’s minimum wage has not yet been completely settled.  Buying that updated, “all in one” poster might need to wait a bit.

Fortunately, you can download an updated poster from the EEOC for free on their website at:  https://www.eeoc.gov/poster. You can use this to add to your existing poster and be in compliance.
