Jon is a passionate problem-solver who is driven by finding the hidden “win-win” in a given challenge. With over 10 years of experience in benefits consulting and health plan experience, Jon has advised benefits strategy for Fortune 50 national corporations and led Commercial Product Innovation for Priority Health. He has accepted his identity as a “benefits nerd”, while also enjoying providing the highest level of client service.
In his free time, Jon enjoys getting outside with his family, rowing, and building computers.
Justine Dickens
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADVISOR
Justine is an Employee Benefits Advisor with a focus on helping employers navigate benefit legislation and compliance while designing strategic benefits packages that attract and retain top talent. With a deep understanding of cost management and company culture alignment, Justine works closely with clients to ensure their benefit offerings meet both business goals and employee needs. She also plays a key role in supporting the team with new case implementations.
Licensed in Life and Health Insurance and certified in self-funded plans, Justine brings both her expertise and dedication to every client engagement.
Outside of work, Justine enjoys playing golf and cheering on her kids at the baseball field and gymnastics meets. Passionate about giving back, Justine is actively involved in mentoring youth through church youth groups and Disciples camps.
John Schuemann
LIC | PRINCIPAL & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADVISOR
John’s specialties at Rose Street are health, life, disability, and group insurance, and other human resource management functions. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded in western Michigan, Chicago and Detroit. John and his family enjoy traveling to new places, and playing board games/cards. They are also huge fans of baseball. Fun fact: John had 27 different jobs until landing insurance career in 1990.
Connor Seymour
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADVISOR
Connor recently joined RSA in 2025. Connor received Bachelor’s in Business and MBA from Davenport University while playing baseball! Connor is responsible for helping company leaders strategize their group benefit, dental , vision, and disability plans all while meeting their organizational goals, budget, and company culture.
In his spare time, Connor enjoys time with family and friends, especially at the cottage on Higgins Lake or playing golf around the US! You can always catch him rooting for his favorite teams, the Detroit Red Wings and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Shannon Thomas

Shannon values working closely with business leaders to make a positive impact at their organization. With over 6 years of experience at a major HRIS company, her skills include consulting with organizations on their HR processes and creating efficiencies within the employee lifecycle. She understands the importance of clear communication and meeting deadlines. Her outgoing nature and ability to communicate across many levels makes her an important part of our team.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and anything outside during the warmer months.
